One of the highlights of my year is attending Life Instyle, a boutique trade event featuring beautiful designer brands including premium homeware, giftware, lifestyle and kids products.
It’s a glimpse into all the gorgeous goodies heading to stores, which for a shopaholic like me, can be both exciting and torturous (I want to BUY BUY BUY, right there and then) 🙂
I also love meeting with the designers and finding out their inspiration for the latest collection (and mentally preparing my wishlist for next season).
One of the most exciting elments of the event is discovering new products and designers. There are always SO many new treasures to find but I’ve narrowed it down to my Top 5. …
goolie goolie Dummy Review
I was recently sent some goolie goolie™ dummies to review.
goolie goolie™ is a soother and comforter in one. It is a baby’s dummy that is permanently attached to an Australian plush animal, designed to keep the dummy close to baby, without the use of cords or clips.
The product range includes three iconic Australian animals, a Wombat named Bluey, a Kangaroo called Rusty and Banjo the Koala. Each animal has the Australian flag embroidered underfoot.
Designed and owned by a local Melbourne mamma, these dummies comply with mandatory Australian Safety Standards and feature a medical grade silicone teat.

Baby proof jewellery for mums
I’ve often wondered if jewellery designed to help teething babies is as good as it claims. It always looks too pretty to let little ones chew on it.
I was recently asked to review Gumigem jewellery and as my youngest is past that stage in life (although I have been tempted to buy some jewellery just because it looks so nice 🙂 ), I enlisted the help of two mums with little ones.
