What I love most about winter in Melbourne is sharing hot chocolates with my girls
I love cuddling up on the couch with the kids all in our pjs drinking hot chocolate watching old movies while it’s raining outside
I love the crisp foggy mornings that turn into glorious sunny days and finish with cuddling infront of a log fireplace
I love wearing so many layers; ordering decadent hot chocolates and also curling up in bed with my children on school holidays ❄️💕
I love wearing layers of clothes and beanies and putting gum boots on all of us and splashing in the puddles !
Visiting the night market for churros, Docklands fireworks, Wild nights at Werribee Zoo and exploring the CBD in search of cafes with open fire places!
I love a day of exploring what Melbourne has to offer and coming home to a warm fire to sit in front of with my family.
Love the host of winter activities like Sovereign Hill’s winter in July, free snow play at Mt Donna Buang and Wild Nights at Werribee Zoo!

I absolutely love sitting in front of an open fire place drinking wine and eating cheese.
Counting down the days until Summer!!!! We make an advent style calendar, a chockie each inside, to brighten up the doom and gloom of the cold, wet, drizzle and frost, that is Winter in Melbourne.
So much to see, to do, to experience and enjoy, all without having to slip, slop slap. Great to rug up, get in the car and go explore or see something new and exciting.
