Najo Jewellery – Self Expression by Design

October 3 2013 By melbournemamma 5 Comments

Anyone that knows me or follows me through social media, would know that I love jewellery.

My biggest jewellery love is silver – stunning sterling silver. The more, the better!

Recently I was contact by Najo and asked it I would like to review some of their jewellery.

I hadn’t heard of Najo before but as soon as I jumped on their website, I knew it was the beginning of a new love affair.

There were so many gorgeous items to choose from but eventually I settled on three particular pieces; Mariposa Necklace ($79), Silver Orbs Bracelet ($79) and matching Silver Orbs Ring ($49).

My husband recently gave me a bracelet for my birthday and I wanted something I could wear with that, without it being too overwhelming and as soon as I saw the Silver Orbs Bracelet I knew it was exactly what I needed.

When I saw the Silver Orbs Ring I thought it would be sweet to wear them together.

Usually my rings are pretty bright and/or chunky but I love the daintiness of this one. I think the two look great together.

Over the past 4 or 5 years I have developed quite an assortment of necklaces (shhh, don’t tell me husband 😉 ). I love to wear one (or more) everyday and am always on the lookout for something beautiful to add to my collection.

As soon as I saw the Mariposa Necklace, I knew I had to have it. My little girl and I both share a love of butterflies, so I’m going to have to keep an eye on this one, as she has already put “bibs” {sic} on it!

I love that this necklace is pretty enough to wear on its own and also mixes in nicely with some of my existing pieces.

I’ve started adding some more of my favourite Najo pieces to one of my Pinterest boards, so I can easily find them when I’m ready to add some more jewellery to my collection. I may accidentally (on purpose) send a couple of links to hubby’s email too. Just need to set up an email account in another name, so it’s not so obvious 🙂

Najo offer free shipping Australia wide on their website or if you would like to see some of their collection up close here are a few local stockists; Coco n Creme (Port Melbourne), D’Artagnan Exquisite Furniture (Moonee Ponds), Alexa Rose (Malvern) and Victoria Lily (Brighton). You can find more stockists at www.najo.com.au

When you visit the Najo store, make sure you pop back here and let me know which piece is your favourite in the comments below.

This is a not a sponsored post, however I did get to keep the Najo jewellery I reviewed. All opinions are 100% mine.

Just finished Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConag Just finished Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy and… Wow!!!
What. A. Ride. 📚

From the very first chapter, I was hooked. And the twists? I did not see them coming.

Charlotte McConaghy proves once again why Australian authors are absolutely unmatched when it comes to vivid storytelling and emotional punch 🇦🇺📚

It’s beautifully written, deeply moving, and completely unputdownable.
Highly, highly recommend!

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

“Dominic Salt and his three children are caretakers of Shearwater, a tiny island not far from Antarctica. Home to the world’s largest seed bank, Shearwater was once full of researchers. But with sea levels rising, the Salts are now its final inhabitants, packing up the seeds before they are transported to safer ground.

Despite the wild beauty of life here, isolation has taken its toll on the Salts. Raff, 18 and suffering his first heartbreak, can only find relief at his punching bag; Fen, 17, has started spending her nights on the beach among the seals; 9-year-old Orly, obsessed with botany, fears the loss of his beloved natural world; and Dominic can’t stop turning back towards the past, and the loss that drove the family to Shearwater in the first place.

Then, during the worst storm the island has ever seen, a woman washes up on shore. As the Salts nurse the woman, Rowan, back to life, their suspicion gives way to affection, and they finally begin to feel like a family again. Rowan, long accustomed to protecting her heart, begins to fall for the Salts, too. But Rowan isn’t telling the whole truth about why she set out for Shearwater. And when she discovers the sabotaged radios and a freshly dug grave, she realises Dominic is keeping his own dark secrets.”
