AWESOME Lego Giveaway

June 13 2014 By melbournemamma 51 Comments

Watergardens Town Centre will transform into a world of creativity and wonder from Monday 23rd June to Sunday 13th July, with a myriad of LEGO® models, LEGO® brick zone and speed play activities.

For three weeks, five of the most impressive models will be seen all under the one roof including; Apollo 11 Rocket which is the tallest Lego model in Australia and includes over 120 000 pieces; ELVIS Erikson Air crane Helicopter measuring 4.2 m wide by 3 m high and has only been shown once in Melbourne before; Lego Love Boat, a replica of the 1980s love boat show which includes over 250 000 LEGO® pieces; a cutaway of the Sydney Opera House displaying the interior during a concert; and the Sydney Harbour Mystery Mosaic, a first for Victoria, which will be built on site by the customers and will include over 170 000 LEGO® pieces.

In addition to the LEGO® model exhibit, Watergardens Town Centre will host a LEGO® Brick Zone, which allows children to build their own models and allows even the youngest of builders to enjoy putting together their own creations with LEGO DUPLO® bricks. There will also be Speed Play competitions, meet and greets with Max, the LEGO Club mascot and an adventure treasure hunt.

For further information on Brick Zone and all the events visit www.watergardens.com.au.

To celebrate this AWESOME event, I am giving one lucky Melbourne Mamma reader, the opportunity to bring their family to a special VIP Preview Event of the LEGO Brick Zone, to see the amazing models, meet the LEGO Master, Ryan McNaught (aka The BrickMan), as well as participate in the fun LEGO activities AND watch the LEGO movie! The winner will also receive a LEGO pack. VIP Event is on Sunday 22 June.

We can’t wait to see Ryan McNaught’s Apollo rocket. We have been lucky enough to see his other models which will be on display but have only seen the rocket in photos. So exciting!

Definitely the helicopter!! My little man is turning 4 on July 1st and winning this would just make it that much more special! He loves Lego above all else and would be thrilled to see the helicopter (and the rocket!) as he’s been obsessed with all forms of transport from before he could chatter on endlessly about his favourites!

Lego brings the child out in everyone at any age! My son is nearly 2 and he creates the most amazing pieces of work & buildings, he is so proud to show them off. Either this is how Ryan McNaught started off or my son is going to be an architet or builder!
